What are the requirements to host international students?
Our host families come in all shapes and sizes, but there are a few things we expect:
Availability to host for 2 to 6 weeks in the summer.
A warm and friendly welcome when your student(s) arrive.
A clean, comfortable, well-lit room, with sufficient heating, ventilation, natural light, storage for clothes and use of a table or desk.
Breakfast, dinner and packed lunch on weekdays, and meals on weekends.
Bed linen and towels, which should be cleaned regularly.
You must live within 60 minutes of our school by public transport.
Keep in mind that students study from Monday to Friday. We also offer a full activity schedule with organized trips and suggestions for things to do in the city – we keep our students busy.
