About the Scholarship
Since our founding, EF has been dedicated to opening the world through education. To mark our 60th anniversary, on February 12th, we’re launching the EF 60th Anniversary Global Language Initiative—an opportunity for 20 passionate students to join the EF Language Year Abroad program and receive scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $3,000. This is your chance to immerse yourself in a new culture, master a language, and build the skills that will shape your future.
How to Apply?
Applying is simple, but spots are limited! Here is how it works:

Step 2: Respond to the follow-up email with one of the following:

Video Essay
Shoot a 2-5 minute video essay on your future goals with language skills

Interview
Schedule an interview with the EF Language Year Abroad program director
Eligibility and Deadline
• Choose ONE of the three ways to apply - Written Essay, Video Essay, or Interview with program director.
• Scholarships are available for students enrolling in the EF Language Year Abroad program (2, 3, or 4 terms).
• Open to all EF destinations around the world.
• To qualify, you must enroll in the program before February 28th, and begin your program in 2025.
